Just Visiting

Houston fullback Vonta Leach, a 6-foot, 250-pound restricted free agent, was in for a visit with the Giants today.
Nothing huge to report here, except that Leach, a backup fullback to Jameel Cook, didn’t have a carry last season. In fact, he hasn’t had a carry yet in three seasons, his first two with Green Bay.
He did catch six passes for 61 yards and a touchdown last year, though. Leach also was in on three special teams tackles.
No word on any offer of an offer sheet yet.
Ciao for now.

Actually, this is really starting to
become the March of the Wooden Soldiers.
I’ve heard only good things about the Leach’s, He MUST be signed!
Can’t be worse than Rocky Thompson
30 would know. That was Ron Johnson’s number.
And Ron Johnson was around when the Giants
wasted a top pick on Rocky Raccoon from Bermuda.
That was about ‘72, I believe. Or was
that wasted pick Larry Jacobson in ‘72?
The bad ones all mesh together.
Jack Tatum says hi.
