Tyree out

I’ll have more on this later, but it looks like David Tyree has a fractured wrist and will miss a month or more.
Tough break for Tyree, who had an up—and—down season last year as he battled through an ankle sprain. He’s still the best kick coverage guy they have, even though he didn’t repeat his Pro Bowl performance of 2005. So it might be a good idea to keep him on the active roster until he heals.
As for Michael Strahan, no sign of the wayward defensive end yet. Watch him stroll in at the beginning of next week, just in time to play against Dallas.
Be back after practice.
Ciao for now.

Good Lord, Ernie! What is going on around here? Tyree, Underwood, Jennings, Kuehl, Demps, Wilkinson, Mitchell. Where will it end? I can’t take another season like we had a couple of years ago where we were picking up guys off the street every week just to have enough bodies to put in the uniforms. It sure seems like that is the way this season is headed, though.
::bangs head on desk:: another injury.
Ed, just to give you a heads up, Ernie retired.
Ernie,
How does the number of injuries the Giants have had over the past two years compare with other teams in the NFL?
