Halftime, Redskins 17-3

September
23

Another touchdown by a tight end. A wide open tight end at that.

Chris Cooley proved the Giants defense still hasn’t solved their problems covering the tight end. There was no one, absolutely no one, in the same frame as him when he caught that second-quarter touchdown pass just over the goal line.

Other than that, though, this one would be a lot closer if not for Eli Manning’s fumble off a sack and Clinton Portis’ ensuing touchdown run. The offense isn’t doing a thing, and if it stays like this the blame for the loss may well be shared equally. Maybe more by the offense considering Manning threw a late interception, albeit off a deflection, to set up Shaun Suisham’s 47-yard field goal as the half expired.

Not a good situation.

Talk to you guys after the game.

Ciao for now.

Hot damn! The Giants have a lead in the 4th quarter AND the defense has played like they may be able to hold it!

big win..the D played much better. 3 turnovers and they still won..

Well, at halftime it looked dreadful. Finally the
defense was playing well, but the offense was bungling.

    Second half? Different game.

The Giants live for at least another week.
A good, dramatic and much-needed win.

Can they maintain some momentum? Hope so.

That TD catch by Cooley gave me a bad feeling, thought oh no here we go again but the D actually showed up yesterday. They showed up but they still have lot’s of work to do. I thought on that last drive by the Redskins they did a awful job, they wasted downs, they had plenty of time honestly. Anyways just happy we won.
Eli had a so so game but he did enough to win. Plaxico, bad first half but showed up big time second half. Glad he did also, cause if we lost this game I would have had to hear the crazies whine about him all week. I thought Shockey had a good game also.
It’s a win and something to build on so I’m going to enjoy it. :)
