Daryll I said he's fillin in nicely, not that he's amazing. But you have to admit, against a tough D like the Skin's he was picking up important yards. The fact that he was able to maximize his carries allowed the Giants to not become completely one dimensional. The Skins had to respect the run.

Given that Spagnuolo is playing his mentor, do you think he'll change his approach to the game?

Listen Derrick Ward is doing well but he is still doing his job. When you earn a spot on a NFL team you are required to do your job!!! And that is what he is doing his job. Don't think that he is that fantastic. He has always had the tools but the thing that remained with him was could he stay healthy? Remember last year he was on his way to a meeting and he tripped and went on the IR. I'll give you one name of another Giant RB who we thought would have a pretty decent time with us but he couldn't stay healthy......Joe Montgomery!!!! I rest my case.

How come this Blog isn't flooded with G-Men?? Anyways happy I found it. Jacobs should be given as much time to heal as possible. He's a beast and with that much leg to be tackled it be ill advised to send him out there 100%. Besides am I the only one who thinks Ward has filled in quite nicely at RB. He catches well, explodes into the hole, ellusive, and follows his blocks well. He reminds me of a less talented Westbrook or Tiki. Who knows he may flourish.
