A Tuesday Question

Giants come off a big win in a big game. They’re hurting injury-wise. The offense isn’t producing, but the defense is playing lights-out. And they’re basically two wins from at least a wildcard playoff spot. In other words, they can go 2-4 down the stretch and still make the postseason.
Give me a final record. Tell me why, and who they’ll beat.
Ciao for now.

10-6
Minnesota—no way that QB is winning here (W)
@ Chicago-Rex Grossman and sputtering offense won’t win in an UGLY game (L)
@ Philly-who is stopping Westbrook on this defense. Philly stays alive, but barely by beating us soundly (L)
Washington-I’d be worried if this past Sunday’s Washington team shows up, but I doubt it (W)
@ Buffalo-JP Losman and company will keep it close as Eli and the O continue to struggle, but win (W)
New England- No expalination necessary (L)
actually…that Chicago game is a toss up…This Giant team may be good enough to split that road trip to CHI and PHI.
vs Min – Win. The only team the Vikings have beaten that is worth noting is San Diego, which has been up and down all season. Not too confident on this but Detroit beat the Vikings earlier in the year and Detroit is overrated.
@ Chi – Win. I could see Grossman pulling out a good game, but Chicago’s D has had a lot of injuries (not sure who’s back yet).
@ Phi – Win. If McNabb is out, I think that kills their offense. Philly is a tough team and an ugly town (literally, read the papers), but I think the Giants can slow them down. If McNabb plays, I’m not sure about this.
vs Wash – Loss. The Redskins are wildly inconsistent (so is the NFC), but I think they play hard nose football and the Giants are about due for a loss. I know the Giants are at home, but I think the Skins will make up for week 3.
@ Buf – Win. Buffalo sucks.
vs NE – Loss. The Patriots always run up the score, no one can stop them, not even our very nice defense.
So apparently I think they’ll go 4-2. I’ll take 3-3.
Note: I know Westbrook is a great RB but if the entire offense rests on him I’m not sure the Eagles can win.
