The Morning After

Getting ready to head over to the team hotel, where I’m sure the Giants didn’t get nearly the amount of sleep I did. Expect to see a lot of red, though happy, eyes after a full night of partying over the most improbable victory anyone can imagine.
This is the day the Pro Bowlers fly to Hawaii, too. The Pats will be sending a slew of them, while only Osi Umenyiora will be getting on that plane, maybe. He might just decide to stick around for the ticker tape parade tomorrow. That’s what makes this win even more impressive, the fact that the Giants’ victory was a function of Team achievement, as opposed to individual greatness, even though there were great individual plays made.
Gotta go. Wild Horse Pass awaits.
Ciao for now.

The feeling still hasn’t sunk in. I made a picture of Eli Manning holding the trophy my computer wallpaper, and seeing it again this morning brought a huge smile to my face.
whos going to the parade im coming home from college for it cutting class and im so pumped
Ernie will be at the parade, but he won’t be blowing his
horn about how he picked AGAINST the Giants all the way.
Some sour notes, indeed.
did nebody see time square last night with thousands of people outside screaming and yelling and jumping on cars it was amazing, its amazing wat this team did for this town…............ with the third youngest team and the team furthest from the salary cap the future only looks bright for the giants
GO GIANTS
Spagnuolo, widely praised for putting together the defense that got the Giants to the Super Bowl, would be seeking his first head coaching job. The Redskins had to wait until after Sunday’s game to formally seek permission to interview him.————————————————————————————————————-
Again I read that they have to ask permission. Does that mean that Reese can just not allow them to talk to Spags?
Gianthinker:
No. The Redskins still have to ask permission. But Jerry Reese said today he won’t block Spags’ way. Look for that interview to happen later in the week, since tomorrow will be a busy day for the Giants. Spagnuolo flew home with the team today.
Still heady with the victory and this is 2 days later! Man, Eli Manning did come out in that game. But it was really all about team effort all the way.
Here’s to more Superbowl Championships for us!
