Inspiring Story

March
10

Very quiet with the Giants at this point, though the Jets did sign Miami’s journeyman running back Jesse Chatman to, what else, a free agent contract. One year for a guy who may or may not make the roster, so no big deal.

But I did run into this inspiring story about the Baltimore Ravens’ director of player development. Just goes to show some of the heavy loads others have to carry around, and how at least one of them deals with it. A worthy read.

We’ll keep an ear out for any Giants developments, but don’t get hopeful. Most of the big names on the free agent horizon are gone by now. And it doesn’t look like DeAngelo Hall is ready to come down from Asante Samuel money yet to facilitate any trade to the Giants or anyone else at this point. But you never know.

Ciao for now.
