There are several solid tight ends in this draft, and getting Harper frees Reese to go after the best available athlete with the first rounder, instead of being forced to go with Johnson or Phillips at #31 I wouldn’t mind Roman Harper and a pick in this year’s draft, and/or a conditional pick in 2009 (based on how well Shockey plays)
