No room for glamour positions

It’s pretty odd and pretty cool that we are through 12 picks in the NFL draft and only one quarterback (Matt Ryan) and one running back (Darren McFadden) have been picked.
There was a run of five defensive linemen taken among the first eight picks, then two linebackers, a corner back and the second tackle taken.
So there are those who say this draft is weak, and maybe that’s because there are no marquee offensive-position players up high.
You watch. This will be one of those drafts where quarterbacks, running backs and receivers taken late, in late rounds, will turn out to be stars and people will wonder how their teams passed on them so many times.
