Who do you want? Who do you predict?

April
26

The title of the post says it all.

Desires and predictions…and that includes Shockey.

I’ll get it started. Kenny Phillips in Round 1. Shockey goes to New Orleans for a 2nd and a conditional 2009 draft pick, something like a 5th that could escalate into a 3rd.

The draft will focus on defense.

    Ernie,

I would love if it played out as you scripted! I’ve heard the Giants are holding out for a better pick than a second rounder, if this is true they should start getting ready to baby-sit a whiney little brat all season. Shockey’s time in NY is over, we won a superbowl without him and even though he is a tremendous talent, he wouldn’t be on the field for atleast 6 games anyway. Trade him while he still has some value, with Boss, Matthews, and Johnson we are fine at TE

    Jeff Otah OT Pitt

  3. teetime

I think if its benefits the Giants to dump shockey do it.
He’s injury prone and I doubt he’ll be 100% coming off his surgery.

  4. keep shockey

Unless they can get something really good for shockey, dont trade him. you dont just give up one of the more under-rated blocking TE, and one of the better receiving TEs in the league.

draft tyrell johnson in the first, hes faster than phillips, stronger than phillips, and smarter than phillips.
    However, i would welcome either.

  5. NY Fan

Trade Shockey for a conditional pick and draft Dustin Keller, TE from Perdue. He brings speed an quickness to the table with great hands. Although he may have trouble blocking oncoming line-backers.
    Let’s get a smart pick here Giants… It’s a whole new season.
