Giants Journal

The Giants blog for Lower Hudson Valley fans.

Just a thought

Quick, get a pen and paper. Write this down.

“You can’t make somebody do something they don’t want to do … everybody has to find their own way.”

Hang it on the wall.

I thought Amani Toomer was dead on yesterday while talking about the lessons he and the other veterans may be sharing with rookies like Mario Manningham, who’s finally back on the field.

By now, I assume you’ve heard that Lawrence Tynes had exploratory surgery, which turned up no structural damage. At least now we know why the plant leg hurts. It’s due to the exploratory surgery.

I get a sense the Giants are pretty happy they don’t have to deal with the headlines a player like Brett Favre generates.

And now, I’m back to my regularly-scheduled day off.
