How great are the Giants? They are unstoppable. I mean, what other team could suspend a top offensive performer and move into first place?
They didn’t have to lift a finger.
I’m sure Tom Coughlin will offer a reminder or two about the Giants needing to get better each week in a very tough division. Seriously, it will be pretty wild once the schedule brings the Eagles and Cowboys into play.
We’ll find out shortly if everyone took note of Plaxico Burress and got to work on time this morning.
I’m pretty sure that’s what Justin Tuck meant when he claimed a distriction can sometimes be a good thing. Everybody got the message. And it doesn’t sound like the suspension will be overturned. A point was made.
Now it’s back to the regulary scheduled broadcast.
And won’t it be nice after so many stops and starts to have the season fall into a rhythm? There have been a month of football Sundays, and the Giants have spent half of them watching at home.
Now all we need is a chill in the air.
I’m off covering the Knicks today, which is a nice change of pace. Talk about a contrast. Go check out my blog on that subject if you want to know how good Giants fans really have it. Back later if there’s news to report.
