We already know that Fred Robbins and Barry Cofield like to dance.
Apparently, the duo also sings.
We learned today about the soundtrack they have produced. Robbins and Cofield aren’t shy about letting the others up front know about each and every sack they take part in.
“If a D-tackle gets a sack and a D-end don’t, you gotta hear it all day in the training room and in the film room,” Justin Tuck said. “If anything, it’s made me more aware that I’ve got to pick up my game because right now Fred’s leading everybody. We gotta catch him.”
The dual will run all season.
“We feel a certain competition with the ends,” Cofield said. “They get all the credit. They get all the love, and the commercials. We feel like the ugly step-child sometimes, but we feel that if we go out and play hard, we can contribute and sometimes steal the show, and I feel we’ve been doing that this year.”
Robbins has four sacks heading into Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, and Tuck is keeping a close watch on the numbers.
“Absolutely,” he said. “He is, too.”
