Burress is questionable

Plaxico Burress will give the hamstring a go before a decision is made.
He was unable to practice today, but says the injury shouldn’t be an obstacle. There was no definitive commitment to play against the Cardinals, though, because of what’s at risk down the road.
“With the weather and how things are going for us, I don’t want it to linger, so to speak,” Burress said. “I don’t want to go out there and put myself in a bad position where I hurt it worse. I’m going to see how I feel on Sunday and basically go from there.”
Tom Coughlin isn’t being any more cautious than usual.
“If the medical people say they can play, and if they are in the right frame of mind, then they will play,” he said.
Brandon Jacobs was able to practice and will be listed as probable.
The injury to Burress apparently occurred Wednesday in practice. He noted some improvement, but would like the issue to be cleared up completely with the weather here getting colder.
Domenik Hixon will probably get another start if the Giants need a replacement.
Burress was asked whether he might take a moment before the game on Sunday to visit the spot in the end zone where he caught a dramatic pass from Eli Manning to win Super Bowl XLII.
“I don’t even know what corner it was,” he said. “I don’t know, man. I was running, and turning around and doing so much on that play I don’t even remember what corner it was.”

I wasn’t going to comment until I saw the last couple of lines. PLAXICO! Appropriate that he caught the game winning TD. He is a good guy and (generally) has his priorities straight.
