Giants statement on Burress

We still don’t know a lot of the particulars, but it sounds like the NYPD is collecting information about what happened at The Latin Quarter nightclub, which is where Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the right thigh, according to ESPN.
The Giants did just release a statement:
“We are aware of the fact that Plaxico was involved in an apparent accidental shooting last night. We have been in contact with Plaxico since shortly after the incident. Plaxico suffered a wound to his right thigh. Obviously, our primary concern is for Plaxico’s health and well-being, and given the circumstances, we are relieved to say he was released from a New York City hospital at approximately 2 p.m. today. We have been in touch with NFL Security on this matter. At this point, we are attempting to gather all the facts surrounding this incident. This incident could become a matter for law enforcement officials, and because of that, we have no comment on any of the details.”

What a surprise another Jerk who thinks he can do whatever he wants. If you remember his statement when getting suspended for missing team meetings to “ drive his son to school” (YEA RIGHT) “ I have nothing to be sorry for and would do it again. Maybe he could go and play with shockey> Wait I know he though he played for the Oakland Raiders or the Bengalis> and I am sure it is a racist thing to expect that if the gun is illegal he will go to jail and or be thrown off the team. And Pres elect Barry can not help you because a gun was involved and Barry publicly hates guns.
