Report: Burress accidentally shot

The details are still being collected, but FOXSports.com is reporting that Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg while visiting a nightclub on Friday night.
Right now, the Giants aren’t commenting.
Burress reportedly spent the night in a local hospital with a “non-life threatening” injury. He was ruled out of tomorrow’s game with a hamstring injury after practice yesterday and probably wasn’t going to Washington today with his teammates.
It’s already been a long year for the noted free spirit.
Burress finally got a new contract hours before the season-opener, but was suspended three games later when he blew off a workout heading into the bye week. He was also benched for most of the first half against Pittsburgh after failing to show up for treatment 24 hours earlier.
Hopefully, we’ll get more information as the day goes along.
Burress has some explaining to do, starting with what he was doing with a gun inside a nightclub.

What the hell? Plax…
Doesn’t surprise me at all. It was just a matter of time before this “head case” would do something really stupid. The worst mistake Giants management could have done was give this slacker at 3-year contract.

Burress did some stupid stuff after signing that big contract but this is the worst. Then again, He barely got the ball this year so far anyways.
