Manning delivers a punch line

Eli Manning is obviously saving his best stuff for the playoffs.
He just dropped back and delivered the quote of the season, taking a lighthearted swipe at Tony Romo in the process.
Since the Giants are getting the weekend off, Manning talked about his plans and brought some needed life to the usual Monday afternoon conference call.
“It’ll be fun for me this weekend to kind of sit and watch all these playoff games,” he said. “My brother’s playing, so it will be kind of fun to be able to relax and watch all these games on TV and start figuring out who you’re going to play. It’s an exciting time.”
Wait for it.
And did Manning consider heading to San Diego to watch Peyton?
“No, No,” he said. “No plans. I’m just going to have a relaxing week up here. I have no plans to travel or do anything. My plans in Cabo fell through.”
Talk about perfect timing and delivery.

As the bigest “boyz” HATTER fan I can’t stop laughing!!!! Yes my plans to Cabo fell through too!!!
I’m with Eli stay home!! these days this time of year are the worst to fly anywhere ( I Fly a lot!!!)!! Also Manimal! He’s not just some “QB” any more! He’s a superbowel star! One that not to many people see everyday. So for him it’s not just “go and route on his brother” trip. He’s a MVP !!!
And yes I believe that Mike should post some of these comments in his weekly “TJN” columns. As once did Alison Bert, she build a nice following with people from all over contributing on her blog. I will say it is good to hear from Mike concidering it is his “BLOG”!!
