It feels a little strange watching football at home in a favorite easy chair again.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of news about Steve Spagnuolo, who’s been wined and dined to an extreme by four potential suitors. He cannot be offered a job until the Giants are done, but I don’t know if there’s a rule preventing a wink or nod across the table.
Imagine how crazy this would be if teams like Dallas and Washington joined the fray?
Did you hear Peter Kind call Spagnuolo the belle of the ball last night? Did you read about Kevin Gilbride’s phone interview with Raiders owner Al Davis?
When the season is over, we’re probably going to see Tom Coughlin tested again. His challenge is going to be reassembling a popular and effective staff that could very well get picked apart by teams looking to repeat the success now being enjoyed by the Giants.
