Playing a hunch

Lawrence Tynes must be pleased to see a full complement of players on the practice field.
He was helping the linebackers this morning, taking imaginary hand-offs as they worked through individual drills, then headed off to do whatever kickers do when nobody’s looking.
I’m thinking that if Tom Coughlin has a little roster flexibility with so many of the health issues corrected in the bye week, he might go back to using two kickers. Tynes has the stronger leg on kickoffs, and I know the Giants don’t want to give Philadelphia an inch there.
The coverage has been a source of aggravation.
I doubt Tynes will give the secret away. Don’t forget, he was fined earlier in the season for speculating he would be on the active roster before Coughlin addressed the situation. Oops. Coughlin still gets a laugh whenever he’s asked who’s teeing it up.
And it shouldn’t be a surprise if Domenik Hixon is running back punts again. He was back there today, settling under the handiwork of Jeff Feagles.

nice…
McQuarters is a BAD punt returner. Hixon running back punts should be good, I just hope being a starting WR and a punt returner is too tiring for him
