I blame Coughlin …

… and to, a lesser extent, Gilbride. If you want to know why, click here. Carp and I will be going back and forth on this subject all day. Give us your take in the comments and let’s try to figure out why the Giants looked so, so good all season and then so, so bad yesterday.

(By the way, in a conversation with my brother last night, I was asked if I saw this kind of game coming and I said something like, “Absolutely not. If they lost 23-20 on a last-second field goal or something, that would have been one thing. That would have been what happens in rivalry games. But to barely show up and hardly be in the game at all is one of the most surprising things I’ve seen. I never thought the Giants would play this badly.” And it’s the truth. Did ANYONE see this coming? I doubt it.)
