That was a busy day out here at Giants Stadium. First the locker room, then a tour of the Giants’ new indoor practice digs on the far side of the parking lot, and then back to the locker room.
I have to say, they won’t be wanting for comfort in the new place. From the outside, the indoor facility looks like a big barn, minus the double wooden doors for the horses. It’s got a full, 120-yard FieldTurf field, and the ceiling tops out at 90 feet. Plenty of room for field goal kicking and punting.
Air-conditioned, too.
Right outside the facility, three full-sized grass fields and another 60-yarder will be constructed. They expect to plant the sod in April.
Then we went into the new office building, where the players will reside in a huge, football-shaped locker room. Plenty of elbow room in there, along with a 130-theater seat team meeting room and any number of offices for any number of jobs. Nice joint.
Read on. We’ll get into some players.

Having paid my fair portion of the “joint”, I await my invitation for more than just a tour . . .
